Pornography Recovery: It’s not uncommon to have clients who report that they struggle with or are even “addicted to pornography,” but more often than not, porn is not the problem. Pornography dependency often comes as a result of deeper emotional, social, relational, and spiritual issues. Until these areas are addressed clients are likely to stay stuck and will struggle to experience the change they are seeking for. This 3-hour session emphasizes the importance of focusing less on white-knuckling as a measure of success and more on the clients overall psychosocial health as the true measure of healing. Participants will walk away with practical tools that will help clients approach change with a fresh perspective and increased hope.

Learning Objectives

A Model Emphasizing Holistic Healing

Participants will explore a model for change and self-improvement that emphasizes holistic healing and human connection as the core to lasting recovery.

Tools For New Perspectives and Treatment Practices

Participants will take home a variety of tools aimed at helping clients abolish self-limiting behaviors and mindsets connected to ongoing pornography use and replace them with healthy perspectives and daily practices that foster confidence and connection.
